Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Mimacalli collects when you use the website at mimacalli.com to recharge a Salik tag, top up an Etisalat, du or Virgin Mobile number, or contact our support team. It also explains how we use that information and the choices you have over it. We aim for plain language — if anything below is unclear, ask us at info@mimacalli.com.

1. Who we are

Mimacalli is a trading name of the company operating from Emerald Bay Plaza, Level 22, Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 2. What we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Name and email address when you send us a message through the contact form.
  • The Salik tag number or UAE mobile number you wish to top up.
  • Optional account details such as a billing address if you set up a saved profile.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, request times) kept for security and abuse prevention.

Payment information

Card details are entered directly into a hosted form provided by our PCI-DSS-certified payment processor. Mimacalli does not see or store full card numbers — we receive only a tokenised reference and the success/failure result of the transaction.

3. How we use the data

We use the information above to:

  • Process Salik recharge and UAE prepaid top-up requests you initiate.
  • Send you the email receipt that follows each transaction.
  • Reply to support queries and resolve disputes.
  • Detect fraud, abuse and unusual patterns on the platform.
  • Improve the website — for example, by analysing which top-up amounts are most common.
  • Meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations in the UAE.

4. Who we share data with

Mimacalli does not sell personal data. We do share specific data with carefully chosen partners so the service can function:

  • RTA Salik, Etisalat, du and Virgin Mobile — to actually deliver the balance you paid for.
  • Our PCI-DSS payment processor — to authorise card transactions.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers hosting the application and audit logs.
  • Regulators, courts or law enforcement if compelled by valid UAE legal process.

5. How long we keep it

Transaction records and receipts are retained for seven years to comply with UAE accounting and tax law. Server logs are pruned after twelve months. Support correspondence is kept for twenty-four months from the last interaction.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

  1. Confirm what personal data we hold about you.
  2. Correct anything inaccurate.
  3. Delete data we no longer need to retain by law.
  4. Export your data in a portable format.
  5. Object to specific processing such as analytics cookies.

7. Security

We use TLS encryption on every page, role-based access controls internally, and signed audit logs for sensitive operations. No system is perfect — if you ever suspect your account has been misused, contact us immediately so we can investigate and lock it down.

When we update this policy we will revise the date at the top of the page. Material changes will also be flagged on the homepage for thirty days so you have time to review them before they take effect.
